The Ministry of Public Administration, in cooperation with UNDP, will mark the Open Government Partnership Week, “Global Call to Action – Government Serving Citizens”, through a series of activities in the period from 11 to 15 March, within the framework of the Open Government Partnership Initiative.

During the Open Government Partnership Week, on Monday, 11 March 2019, the conference “e-Democracy – Citizens, Public Policy-Makers” will be held at the Centre Ville Hotel, Podgorica, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Public Administration and the Union of the Blind of Montenegro will be held on Tuesday, 12 March 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in Podgorica.

Within the Open Government Partnership Week, an Open Doors Day at the Ministry will be organized for citizens.

The Round Table on “Publishing Data in Open Format” will be held on Thursday, 14 March 2019, at 10:00 a.m., within the Open Government Partnership Week.

A lecture on the openness of public administration in Montenegro and the global initiative of the Open Government Partnership of Montenegro will be organized for students of the Secondary Economic and Hospitality School in Bar, on Friday, 15 March.

Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a voluntary international initiative launched in 2011, promoting multilateral cooperation, supporting and assisting the development of openness, transparency and accountability of the administration through open cooperation of state administration representatives, primarily with civil society, and with other segments of the society in order to promote and increase transparency, fight corruption and actively involve and strengthen the participation of citizens and the civil sector in public policy-making. Montenegro joined the OGP on 13 February 2012, and signed the declaration on the open government as a participating country (www.otvorenauprava.me).
