Minister of Public Administration, Ms. Suzana Pribilović will close the Open Government Partnership Week by visiting the PI Secondary Economy and Hospitality School in Bar. A lecture on the topic of “Openness of public administration in Montenegro”, as the closing activity within the Open Government Week is organized by the NGO Institute for Social and Educational Policy – ISOP in partnership with the NGO Council for the Implementation of Youth Policy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration.
Minister of Public Administration, Ms. Suzana Pribilović, who heads the Operating Team for the Open Government Partnership, will give the introductory speech, and inform the secondary school students about the results of the Montenegrin Government in the area of transparency, inclusiveness and openness towards citizens and present new services offered to citizens in the area of eDemocracy.
Chief Executive Officer of ISOP and member of the Operational Team for Open Government Partnership in the area of increasing accountability of companies, Mr. Mitar Radonjić, will introduce the secondary school students with the history of the Global, National and Local Open Government Partnership with a special focus on the OGP principles and values, which Montenegro has fostered from the start.
A special focus will be on informing the participants about the National Action Plan 2018-2020, as well as on the ways in which the Action Plan contributes to the inclusiveness of citizens in the decision-making process.
After the lecture, the attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and have an active discussion with the aim of encouraging secondary school students to take part in future public consultations, especially through the eParticipation service.
