Open Government Partnership
Open Government Partnership is a voluntary international initiative launched in 2011, which promotes multilateral cooperation, supports and promotes openness, transparency and accountability of the administration through open cooperation between representatives of the state administration and civil society, as well as with other segments of society in order to promote and increase transparency, combating corruption and active involvement of citizens and the civil sector in the creation of public policies. Montenegro joined the OGP on February 13, 2012, and signed the Open Government Partnership Declaration as a participating country.

The Government of Montenegro adopted the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Open Government Partnership Initiative 2018-2020, developed by the OGP Operational Team which consists of representatives of state authorities and NGOs. Within these areas, a total of 23 activities will be implemented. The Action Plan has been developed to a large extent, through the principle of increasing access to new technologies for openness and accountability of public administration.
